just another Tuesday...

i enjoyed Obama's first State of the Union address yesterday. i got kinda annoyed at the Democrats jumping out of their seats every 2 minutes and the Republicans either asleep or looking like somebody farted next to them but all in all i thought the address went well. i was kind of expecting another "YOU LIE" moment...but i guess the Republicans have had enough embarrassing moments over the past 8 years that they probably threatened to put a hit on the next person to embarrass the Republican party.

Obama's 2010 State of the Union Address

as far as my day was...went to work and to the bank to run errands for the chapter today. some work never ends. i did manage to find my way to the gym this afternoon.the plan was to be in the gym at least twice a week starting in January, but clearly that did not happen. i got an A in my winter term class and had the opportunity to relax so i'm not complaining. this little extra weight can stay for just a little while longer. it's not hurting anyone.

ate dinner and washed my hair. good enough for one day. let's see if i can actually manage to pick up all the clothes on the floor in my room and bathroom in case i have to leave for my parents house tomorrow before this "wintry" mix comes through tomorrow night....

...at least i can finally make my snow creme!

hello world...

it looks like i'm back. it's been almost 6 months since i have deleted my blog and i am going to try another turn at this thing. it's time to catch up.... so over the last semester, i've been stressing out trying to figure out what i'm going to do after may. graduation is approaching quickly and i am still trying to figure out if i want to graduate or apply to study abroad and stay enrolled at Elon for another semester. i have an interview next month for a job and i am praying that all goes well. if it works out, i may be relocating. it kind of scares me, but i think it is something that will be good for me. time for be to really be independent and help others at the same time.

in the mean time...catching you up on the end of my summer and fall semester...

it's time to count my blessings. it has taken an entire month to reflect over 2009 but there is a time and place for everything. guess my time has come. as bad as 2009 was...2010 can only get get better. kind of comforting actually... spring semester starts next week...probably my last. time to enjoy it and this time...really make it count.
